Payment through credit card

Please help! What if I will be charged automatically for hourly contracts but my credit card's payment gateway is OFF?????

Hi!

 

Hours worked "last week" are billed and charged Monday afternoon UTC

They then show under the "under review" tab until Friday Midnight.

If the client does not dispute they move to the "pending" tab after midnight Friday UTC

Then they become available to withdraw on the following Wednesday.

 

If your card is unable to process the payment, Upwork will try to process the payment to the current billing method on your account. If you do not add a new billing method to the account, Upwork will continue to attempt to charge.

 

If you have an outstanding balance, a temporary restriction may be placed on your account until the balance is cleared. To clear your balance you should ensure you have an active primary billing method on file, then follow the below instructions.

 

Once your balance has been cleared, the restriction will be lifted and your account will be automatically resumed.

 

You will not be able to hire or do anything until the payment is made, and your account can even be suspended. All your freealacers will receive notification as well.
