Hey Team,

I have been a long-time basic member. I am now evaluating using Plus as my usage has increased. I wanted some confirmation please, on the following statement that was in the Plus Plan page (https://www.upwork.com/ab/plans/client/change-plan-new?from=clientIndex)

3% payment processing fee.
Included in membership price if eligible to use ACH or Local Currency card

I have a Canadian Visa which I will use. Does this mean that I will not be charged the 3% on top of the 49.99/month?

Hi Shai,

Thanks for your question. Yes, if you are on Upwork Plus Membership Plan and using this option to pay in Local Currency, then you will not be charged 3% Payment Processing Fee.

Hi Valeria

I have the same question. I'm in the UK (GBP).

 If I choose to pay in USD, will I still be charged the 3% processing fee?

If I choose to pay in GBP, I won't be charged the 3% processing fee, but Upwork will convert from USD to GBP at what rate?
