Hello! I need help with a client. He says that Upwork is having trouble verifying his identity, and his account is still pending review, so we can't start the contract. The job he needs is quite urgent so I would like to know if there's something else we can do.
Thanks in advance!

Wow. Yeah... That definitely sounds like something that is not your problem.
Also:
There is nothing you can do about this.
And:
If you reached Upwork Customer Support and talked to them, they would simply tell you that they can't discuss another Upwork user's account with you.
If this client has problems, why isn't the client coming here to the Community Forum to ask for help?

No way should you do any work for the client until both his identity and payment method is verified. And do not communicate with him outside of Upwork until after a contract is in place as thet would violate the ToS and leave you more open to getting scammed than you already are. Please read this: https://community.upwork.com/t5/New-to-Upwork/List-of-red-flags-for-scams/m-p/1017044/highlight/true...

Yeah, I understand that. I'm not working yet and I was not planning to communicate outside Upwork, I'm waiting for the contract and verification. What I want to know is if support can help the client in the verifying process.
