Problem with the refund of a non finalized offer

Hello,

I'm a new client.

I created an offer with a fixed fee, I paid with Paypal a total of 420$ for the first milestone.  

Then, by mistake, I wintdrawn the offer.

I corrected the mistake hiring a second time the same person of the first time.

I paid a second time 420$ with Paypal.

Now I have 400$ in my escrow balance but I paid 840$: please help.

How can I ask a refound of 420$ ?

If you need a refund, your freelancer must provide it through the Upwork platform. Giving refunds outside Upwork is against our Terms of Service. You may want to check this help article for more details and further instructions on requesting a refund directly from a freelancer or agency.
