Hi - I paid a salary to a freelancer by mistake on top of the hourly rate. How can that be fixed?

End the contract, ask the freelancer to refund the overpayment, and set up a new contract without the salary.

You will be charged for the pro-rated salary for this week (4//7 days.) on Monday.
