Hi Everyone. I just started usig Upwork and posted a position for a screenwriter. After speaking with about 2 dozen people, I rranged a deal with a writer named**Edited for community guidelines**. After agreeing, 2 days later she reneged without any logical explanation. I would recommnd Upwork remove her from their platfom and I would warn any clients not to use her.
Not every freelancer/client pairing is a good fit.
It is normal for some hires to not work out. Nothing you have said here indicates that the freelancer you hired violated any rules. It sounds like a good thing that she backed out quickly, before more time was invested in having her on the project.
