What was agreed before the contract started? If nothing was agreed, anything that was not specifically mentioned in the contract is not in scope and subject to separate negotiation (and additional cost, if applicable)

Whoever publishes the app will have more control over it.

If I were to publish an app, I would want direct control over the publishing account, sales numbers, revenue stream, etc.

If I didn't know how to do everything associated with publishing myself, I would consider hiring somebody to help me learn and/or to set things up for me. And then I would change the access credentials (passwords at least) so that I'm the only person who can access the accout.
