I just stried to close my account. They want me to call them. Why? My number is not their busness and I dont have tim to be treated like a hamster in a habitrail.
So I cave in and ohh yea its Saturday so no one is answering the phones wow no tech avalable on weekends must be nice..
I tried deeleting my CC info and just leave the account in limbo. But guess what I cant do that without adding amother CC.
Horrible experience. hope they go under sooner thatn later.

Upwork is not a "customer service-centric platform."
A a practical matter, I understand why you are frustrated by what happened when you tried to remove your credit card number.
You have no pending payments or contracts.
There is no good reason why you should need to talk to anyone on the phone. You would be more satisfied if you could directly remove the credit card number without talking to someone in Support, and Upwork would actually save money.
I recommend that Upwork make this change.
