Transferring money from a bank account to my client wallet so I can pay a freelancer sooner

Hello

1. hired a freelancer some days ago

2. job was done perfectly

3. I'm billed for an hourly contract, no disputes

4. I would like to pay her today and round the sum up a bit

5! but my wallet on the site is currently empty

6. so I would like to transfer money from my back account via card to my wallet, so the transaction can occur, and not make her wait until the following Monday

How can I do that? 🙂

Hi Vasil,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I shared your report with our team and one of our agents will reach out to you via a support ticket to assist you further. You can access your support tickets here.

Please note as well that you don't need to add money to your Upwork account in order to pay the freelancer. You can add a valid payment method or use an existing card on file to process the payment.

I noticed as well that you have a freelancer account. Just a good-to-know information, the financial account of your client and freelancer accounts are kept separate, so your earnings as a freelancer can't be used to pay for a contract.

I hope this helps!
