Unable to make Paypal payments

I am not able to make payments through Paypal, despite trying with different cards. Help.

Everytime I try, it says "You don't have a valid payment method on file with Upwork. Please correct this before making an offer."

However, on the hire page it does show under billing methods as paypal.
