I believe my personal Upwork account may have been hacked by a developer I found on the platform.
For my job, I manage various software development projects and sometimes use Upwork to hire developers for long or short-term projects that work alongside designers on my team.
I recently had a call with a developer over TeamViewer, however, during the meeting, I believe my Gmail account was hacked as I had to reset credentials on my devices after the call. I didn't receive any notification which was odd. The only reason I got back the account was that I was already logged into the recovery account in my Chrome browser when I went through the "forgot password" procedure.
After this Google Sign-in attempt, I saw I was logged in via an unknown device which I logged out of immediatly, this then led to Upwork sending an email to me telling me:

Hello,
Please talk to a member of your team regarding this issue as I am being ignored by Upwork throughout.
I have received another email from your team talking about irregular activity on the account which I'm using now. However, this entire issue is regarding my personal Upwork account which was hacked by a dev found on the platform.
I'd just like to confirm my Identity and provide the appropriate documentation for the account in question. Providing documentation for this account is unnecessary as I do not plan to use multiple Upwork accounts.
The only reason this account has been created is that through support tickets I have been ignored by the Upwork team non-stop via email, and then had tickets closed without confirmation the issue has been resolved.
Is there anything I do from my side to make this easier for members of your risk & compliance team?
