Why Private Profiles ? (for talents)

I discovered this when I look at talents I saved in the past. 

Why would a talent set private profile ?

Does it mean she's not taking Upwork jobs ?

Hi Roger,

A freelancer has the ability to set their profile visibility as "Not Available" mainly if they're not planning to take on any project at the time. However, please note that there are instances where the freelancer profile can be automatically set to private for the reasons described here.
