Withdrew offer after a week and freelancer never accepted job: how to I get escrow funds returned?

I posted a job that I needed done by tomorrow.  I made an offerand put funds into escrow for the job. After several messages back and forth with the freelancer, he never officially accepted the job or did any work.  Finally he said he was planning to do it today but he would step aside and let another freelancer take it.  I withdrew my offer and now I want to hire someone else, but don't want to have to put up the funds again for the second freelancer since the escrow for the first freelancer is still in place (the money was taken out of my bank acocunt). How do I resolve this?  Thanks.

You don't need to do anything. The money will be refunded to your credit card (or other payment source) automatically within 3 to 4 business days.
