cancelled job refund

Hello,

I offerend a job to a freelancer on 27th of November, we then agreed to cancel the job on 28th.
I was billed initially as per statement. Then there is a refund as per statement as well. But no transactions happend factualy to my credit card. 

Do I expect the amount to be debited then refunded to my card or do I expect nothing to appear on my credit card statement?

Could you confirm the type of contract it was? Was it an hourly contract or a fixed-price milestone contract? The process for billing and refunds can vary depending on the contract type.

It can't be an hourly contract.

The money will be returned to your payment method or your Upwork balance within a few days automatically.
