escrow refund

I created a fixed price contract and then changed the price to a lower budget. The job is now completed and I paid the budget amount and there are still funds in escrow. When I look to see how I can request an escrow fun, it tells me to click end contract and choose a different amount to pay. Now that I have already paid the budget amount, this option is not coming up. 

I am scared that if I end contract, the funds in my escrow will be lost and I will not be able to get it back. 

Essentially, my question is, if I end the contract, will the funds in escrow be refunded back to me?

Hi Khahan,

If you close the contract with funds still remaining in Escrow an Escrow refund request will be sent to your freelancer. 
The freelancer will have 7 days to approve it or reject it. If no actions are taken the funds will be released to you. Thank you.
