i cannot add any billing method

I opened my account yesterday and i posted a job that i need help with. when im trying to hire a freelancer, nothing happens. i try to add billing method using my debit or credid card and it does not allow me. I tried to contact support for help and no one is reahing out to me which is very disapointing and such a bad customer experience.
