Read the entire first book (I know, Ugh!) and half of the 2nd book after which I almost hated calling myself a bookworm. Weak story, weak characters and character development, weak similes, weak everything! The lines were bad if not nonexistent, the story revolves around a broken man with a fetish and a girl who can't see past the face and money. Even the "hot" scenes were dry, drawn out and practically recycled. I hate that this book has been published and is known to empower women.. Uhh.. empower what with what exactly?
Needless to say the book was horrible, the person who wrote it clearly needs help.
There's been plenty of allegations of racism, classism and homophobia levelled at too. I've read all the books in extract form (No way am I going to put myself through reading the whole thing just to prove a point), and there doesn't appear to be a single instance where the main characters do or say anything nice about anyone - weird.
