Hi guys... I'm new to upwork and as i was doing a proposal on a book summary i was really strugglling to find a term to define myself as a person who likes reading books. I only had booklover but it sounded a little bit, may be too much oldfashioned... Any suggestions that you guys might have?

bibliophile:
A person who has a great love of books; a collector of books.
This is a good word, but might not be exactly what you want.
Could try:
"avid reader"

Bookworm.
Google says it's a positive term.
Imagine you found a good word and a potential client reading it in 1/10 second and paying no attention whatsoever.

I don't know but i feel like a bookworm is more of addicted than devoted

While Preston's suggestion of bibliophile is completely accurate - you need to always keep in mind that too many will not know the meaning of the word. Due perhaps to English as a second language - or, more often, simply due to a less than stellar vocab - which can be true for writers as well.
Your proposals must be tailored to the potential buyer ... and using a word they don't readily grasp will send them on to the next proposal rather than to the dictionary or Google.
