Book Writer needs editing ...

I'll say.

That's a job posting from the Absurdities Always Ring True Department.

Maybe the book writer had or has the one brilliantly creative idea that ensures his work is well received when it is done.  Maybe he was thinking about that one brilliantly creative idea when he wrote his posting.

Maybe the one editor who responded with kindness boxed out the catty ones or no-response ones and found a wonderful client who treats her/him well.

Maybe.

Anthony, I'd really love to read a book you wrote, or will write.

That white mustachio tho!

'Tis the beard of writers 😉

It wasn't meant to be a job posting, but a meaningful message.

Book Writer needs editing

Yes. A universal truth.

Jump over to my job stream where every post starts with "I need money..."   Don't we all, hon?

Just a little passive-aggressive, John?

LOL. It's true. It was a very catty response to this erstwhile innocent malfeasance. My bad.

I do love the response above yours, too. Brilliant. Pithy. Dagger in my side.
