Thanks for that Vesna. I haven't listened to that for ages. It is haunting. (I also loved his friend Kieslowski's movies - Three Colours trilogy - particularly Three Colours-Blue.) l have so many classical favourites - for sad music, I often listen to Richard Strauss's Four Last Songs. I'm sorry, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to classical music, but if you like this, you might want to listen to Jeremy Soule's soundtrack for TES5 Skyrim game. Among many normal-length songs, there is a 40 minutes long one which is very atmospheric and is played with classical instruments (or maybe just a synthesizer) interleaved with sounds of nature. I guess there is a lot of such kind of music. But this one I love very much.
