i don't want to go through the archives or the help area.

just want to know why again it's 60 connects and not 30? I don't ever see a posting that costs 1 connect so when I think of 60 connects alloted to us  I think it should be 60 jobs we can bid on.

I believe the idea behind it is to eventually "price" different applications differently, for example make small "cheap" projects cost 1 Connect, medium sized ones 2 Connects and huge high value ones 3 Connects, but that is just an opinion. It would make sense as currently freelancers may be using 2 connects to apply for a $ 5 contract which clearly makes that a much more "expensive" application than using 2 connects to apply for a $ 1000  contract.

I agree with Petra.

I think the number of connects per application is not going to be staying as it is, I don't know about other categories, I mostly look at administrative and Customer Service posts it's always 2 connects. I think the higher the price and skill level the more connects needed to apply in the near future.
