Hi Abdul,
I'm afraid that we currently do not have such an option, but I'll surely share your feedback with the relevant team for consideration.
One workaround you could try, in case you haven't already, is that if you use Google Chrome as your browser, you can force enable dark mode for every website. You can do this by typing "chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark" into an URL address bar. Be mindful this is an experimental feature available in Chrome so it may not work as nicely as having a native option within the website you're visiting.

It's 2024. All major sites has a dark mode. Of all the visual changes that has been done, why upwork is so slow implementing this? Does it look unproffesional? Is it code breaking? Technically challenging? Lack of Resource? Does upwork take care of their freelancer's eyes? There is no excuse. I'm aware of a workaround, I want something official.
Freelancers work all time of the day, including midnights, we don't want to be blinded by the default theme.

Hi Aiescer,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'll make sure this gets to the relevant team so they can consider this feature. For now, I have merged your post to a thread where Viacheslav shared some tips on how he was able to switch to dark mode on his browser.

It's 2024 now, and most of the tech apps are now implementing a dark mode. Is this happening anytime soon?

Hey everyone! Let's cast our votes for the dark mood theme on Upwork. It's sleek, easy on the eyes, and adds a touch of sophistication to our workspace. Your support matters, so let's make it happen! :new_moon:

Hey Folks,
I started noticing an annoying bug on the site that I'd appreciate if you could fix.
First Appearance: 2-3 Months ago
OS/Browser: Windows 11/Edge/Chrome/Dark Reader*
*Although if I had to guess, I'd say there was a recent update to the site's CSS code and a style got misassigned or oversimplified, and therefore the problem would be independent of the OS and browser.
Frequency: Constant
Reproducing Problem Behavior:
Expected Behavior:
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

I was hoping if there was a way to enable dark mode in Upwork UI.
My eyes would bless you for your help in this.
thanking for recommendations in advance.

I'm sorry to break it to you but white on pitch black is as bad as no dark theme, it is not easy on the eyes but quite the opposite. Extension it is...
