Do you think it is recommended to do a Certification in Digital Marketing?

Hello everyone,

I am interested in learning about Digital Marketing. Do you think it is better to learn by doing the free courses online or I should do a certification in Digital Marketing offered at the Digital Marketing Institute?

Your honest opinion would be greatly appreciated as I want to tap into a new skill area to be more marketable.

It's not a bad idea if it'll help you level up your skills. Plus there are free courses you might be able to find online (eg. Coursera) or join an association with paid training and a helpful community.
