I was wondering if the 20,20,20 rule does work for somebody.
I use it regularly, although not often during the day, and yeah it helps, but of course it's hard sometimes to see the result.
Does anybody else use it? And do you find it effective?
For those who don't know, the 20,20,20 rule means: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 meters far away, for 20 seconds.

it's very hard to remember, in fact, this will also take away your focus on the clock and make you less productive.
The 20-20-20 rule I am aware of is :-
After you wake up, first 20 mins - exercise, next 20 mins meditation and last 20 mins in journaling/planning your day

Well, your rule is absolutely good as well.
The one I mentioned is not less productive necesseraly. I mean, of course it does not work for anyone, but I believe healthy to hop off the chair now and then and apply the rule, without breaking the focus in certain periods of work.

Honestly, sometimes I am so immersed in the work that hours will pass before I become fully aware of my body. Not the healthiest thing to do, but if the work is interesting or fun, it's like having blinders on. A smarter person would set up alarms to make sure they did the right thing. 🙂

Yeah, some goes for me 😕 Alarms might be distracting and annoying though. It could be nice to do that once every hour maybe ^^
