Woodrow,
That is hilarious! 😀
It's so strange that it would cause people on social media to stop and say what is that.

It's not a lionkaroo. It's a lionkillroo. Lionkaroos don't have killer whale back ends. And lionkaroos have pouches.
I will say, that if this is AI, it will have an enormous audience among five and six-year-olds. I find it very creepy, but elder toddlers will have fewer preconcieved notions to wrestle with. I find its attempt to be slick and attractive to be more offensive than appealing.

Woodrow,
Is this AI created? If so, what's so creative about slapping together the front and back end of two different species? An 8 year-old using their own brain could come up with something more imaginative.

Hi Lisa,
Yes, it is. And you are correct. There is nothing creative about this.
However, I have technology clients, i.e., IT, MSP, and Cybersecurity firms, I write for, requiring me to stay current on the latest trends.
So, for the past year and a half, I've been testing the different AI tools to see what they do and what the end results look like using various commands.
In this instance, I asked ChatGPT to create a creature that is half orca, half lion, half kangaroo, sprinting across the desert, and what you see is the result.

Sadly, it kills any creative instinct that a mere mortal may have. It is an interesting picture or amalgam - but it is well - dead ...
