The algorithm is suggesting that I "explore new groups" such as "financial trading" and "Zimbabwe" in the community.
As much as I might like to explore new groups and topics, this is ridiculous, given my field and interests. It has to be said: it really is high time the community algorithm took a break!

I was trying to post a response. Can someone tell me what the "predefined bad words" in the screen shot are?

K** Bill.
She is dangerous as hell.

You make a good point proving the tragic limitations of Upwork's Uma.
It can't do this...

It just goes to show you never can tell...
Our Uma definitely can't dance in character. You'd think they would have considered that in the programming stages.

She detected the subtle dig about the forecasts, and doesn't find it funny. At all. There will be no humor in the forums.

As an FYI, I had the word - a s tr o lo gy - in my response above right before the word 'forecasts' and it would not let me post until I removed that word.

Thanks for checking.
I'm not sure this is the most comforting news. Uma seems like 1984, 2001 and Kill Bill all rolled into the same customer support system...

The first syllable sounds like--well a forbidden word.

This is only a test (not sure if it debunks the theory):
astronomy

asshat
assassins
assailable
unassailable
assay

Assam

Assyriologist
assess
asses
Edited to add:
I did get this warning the first time I tried to post but not the second. And it didn't blink about the "predetermined" A-words in the list. So something Stan told me a while back seems to be true but not completely true.
I can't post about the star sign readings.

But can you just say "your a***"? Or "you a*** head"? (I'm not really up on the latest playground insults.)
Edited to add: Yup. Just did. This is taking me back to my lost high school years.

It is time to start moving to another platform before the forums shut down.
Just had a quick look at LinkedIn.
There are many Upwork groups there, with multiple having the name Upwork Professional Group.
Any suggestions on which group to join?

The word related to pseudoscience (i.e., tarot cards, zodiac signs, horoscopes, etc.). You used it twice, so you're doubly bad! 😂
I tried using the same word over a year ago and realized it was a "bad word."
Edit: I should've read the entire post! It looks like others figured it out.

Heavey on the hallucinations and narcissistic overtones it's looking.
Does it answer questions about updates and changes in the TOS?

Yes. That's a big bonus. I've never had the opportunity to use it before, so I'm looking forward to casually slipping it into a conversation.
