My hobby is painting and art, it has definitely layed the foundation of my freelancing ๐Ÿ˜Š I make logos for clients and I am really happy to be able to put my hobby to good use!

Another great thing about digital art is that there is a lot less mess to clean up after "painting" ๐Ÿ˜…

I like to tinker - i think this has sort of worked its way into the way i work - i have this happy place in my mind and its called "department of reverse engineering" lol - it makes some jobs quite entertaining and thats what keeps me going as a freelancer

Personally I love painting and visual arts in general, which helps immensely in designing creative pieces. I also love writing, but I am very bad at it ๐Ÿ˜›

It hasn't yet, but give me some time, and I'll be adding a niche to my workload that hardly will feel like work - but is a passion!

Sarah,

Yes. As a chess player, it has kept me with an open, flexible, and strategic mind.

  1. Building a Personal Brand with Photography: I put up my pics on Pixabay with my website as my last name. https://pixabay.com/users/sergeitokmakov-3426571/ They got 6+ million downloads, so when clients Google my name, there are fresh mentions almost every day, sometimes on the likes of Forbes as free advertising. Same result if your pics are good and you post them on social media.    If you're a photographer who enjoys travel, your personal brand could focus on capturing unique places around the world. If you're a digital marketer with a passion for environmental sustainability, for example, you could market yourself as a specialist in green marketing strategies.
  2. For Stress Relief: Yoga and meditation. They can help you relax, clear your mind, and improve your concentration. Other stress-relieving hobbies could include gardening, painting, or even playing a musical instrument.

  3. For Creativity Boost: Creative hobbies such as writing, painting, cooking, ans playing a musical instrument stimulate the brain and spark creativity. Photography, for instance, can make you see the world from different perspectives, enhancing creativity.
  4. Networking: Hobbies such as team sports, book clubs, social media or volunteering provide opportunities to meet new people and possibly open new professional opportunities.

  5. Learning Opportunities: Hobbies such as learning a new language, coding, or playing chess can stimulate your brain, enhance your problem-solving skills, and instill a lifelong learning mindset.
