If you could have lunch with any person, living or dead, who would it be?

Steve Jobs—his take on creativity and innovation fascinates me.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, or simply al-Khwarizmi. The word algorithm derives from his name. (on a funny note, maybe he would be able to decipher the mysterious Upwork algorithm for me)

He was a polymath who produced vastly influential Arabic-language works in mathematics, astronomy, and geography. His algebra treatise Hisab al-jabr w'al-muqabala gives us the word algebra and can be considered as the first book to be written on algebra.
