New Feature for UpWork similar to Uber

I have a suggestion for UpWork team. Can you Please create a system like uber Where client enters details of project and requirements after that your system search for the freelancers who are free to accept new projects. Your system choose best available freelancer and start the contract. samething like uber.

I think you have summed up the difference very accurately.

I can understand the appeal of the Uber model - for both freelancers and clients.

But I don't foresee this as something that Upwork will implement. Hiring a ride to take you from home to the movie theater is one very straightforward understandable task. A system can indeed be created to assign a single person to do that.

But could the same be said of the type of services provided by Upwork? There are endless varieties of services available here: voiceover work, writing product descriptions, legal advice, creating mobile apps, trouble-shooting server problems, providing customer support.

And for any category of service, there are endless numbers of aspects to the job. There is no way for Upwork to create a system that will assign ONE individual do handle a client's request, and have the result be something satisfying to clients.

Upwork can use the keywords and skills to match with freelancers and give around 1 hour to decide to both parties.

 The Talent Specialists are trying to do just that, and that has not worked out well for most freelancers and clients. What you are suggesting is only going to make a very bad experience much worse for many people.

When I'm hiring someone, I and only I decide who I hire. I take my decision based on the person's profile, portfolio and on the interview. Nobody is gonna to make the hiring decision for me. 

Muhammad, if you want this kind of hiring process, go ahead and become an Uber driver, or a driver for any similar service in your area. Upwork is for hiring professional experts, not the first dude who shows up.
