I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling down today. It’s okay to have days like this; we all do. Remember that this feeling is temporary, and brighter days are ahead.
1. You Are Valuable
You have unique gifts and talents that the world needs. Sometimes, it’s hard to see our own worth, but trust that you make a difference.
2. One Step at a Time
Moving forward doesn’t always mean giant leaps. Sometimes, the smallest steps in the right direction can end up being the biggest steps of your life. Just focus on one thing at a time.
3. Self-Care Matters 👀 although it might feel like you have to "earn" it when you feel sad.
Take some time for yourself today. Whether it’s a walk, listening to your favorite music, reading a book, or simply relaxing. Taking care of your mind and body can lift your spirits.
I like to meditate on the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT): “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
It's a passage that reminds me that there’s a greater plan for our lives, filled with hope and a future. Trust in that plan even when things seem tough.
From a purely psychological standpoint; Carl Jung believed in the power of self-realization and individuation.
Embrace who you are and recognise that every emotion, even sadness, is part of your journey towards becoming your true self.
Allow yourself to feel and process these emotions, knowing they contribute to your growth and understanding.
You've already taken steps to make things FEEL better by reaching out to this community. Sometimes, sharing your feelings with someone who cares can make a huge difference.
Upwork also works when you set small goals.
Accomplishing small tasks can give you a sense of achievement and motivate you to tackle bigger challenges.
Remember, you’re not alone.
