Snowing in Mobile Alabama

I say this because we hardly get it in SC, but snow makes everything look so beautiful.

No snow in Biloxi, although it snowed all around us.  Just gallons of icy rain.  So not pretty.

We have very little snow here.

Just 20 years ago there were decent amounts of snow already at the beginning of December.

And further back, when my mom was a child, she told me winters were so hard they were able to go through frozen river because of thick ice, and snow was much higher.

 

... huh, why my every post sounds like whining?

 

Anyway, great pic from Italy. What fruit is that? Oranges?

 Mandarines. The tree is heaving with them, they'll be ripe in 4-6 weeks or so. no idea what I'll do with them all.

 

I grew up in the Black Forest, Germany. Snow for months on end. Don't miss it one bit!

I guess snow is rare in Alabama? Enjoy it while you can, Vonda!

 

Here in the North of France, we had some a few days ago.
