Speak for Success

You know why people should read out loud.

Now what I think is that people know about this but they don't know much.

They think it's some kind of stupid thing, going to waste their energy.

But that's not true.

Only if you had a different mindset you'll see it's phenomenal.

But this mindset can only be achieved by reading things out loud.

Now I'm clearly not saying that if you see a board of stop sign, and scream with your full might "STOP".

Just read things out loud that you can hear yourself, most of the time when I'm bidding for a job I read out loud the Job Description,

Just to get things clear + It improves your articulation, which is THE MOST important factor in communication skills.

So whenever you're reading an article or a book, it may sound weird in the beginning because it feels like you're just chanting to yourself in a room,

But when you begin to read, you begin to develop the skill of articulation.

It's not about what you have to say...

...It's about does the other person understands the message that you're trying to convey

K Talk Later

Peace ✌️

That's a great point about reading out loud improving articulation. I've never thought about it that way. I'll definitely try it out when preparing for interviews.

I don't know if he's going to answer your call. Because I know how busy this person is.

Thanks for your advice. Sometimes I try to hear myself when I am reading and it helps. I think that reading out loud gives additional boost to our focus. Indeed!!!

I definitely agree with reading a job description out loud. It helps the brain absorb and understand every word, whilst allowing your vocal cords and eyes to work in sync with each other. I had a tutor when I was a child who explained it to me that way. I have always remembered that because when applying for jobs you need to make sure you are ready and able to complete the task the client has set forth in the job posting. Sometimes I will se jobs that require my services only to open the post and read that it might not be the right fit for me. That can determine if I apply for the job or accept the interview request from the prospective client or not.

You are lucky that you got a teacher who taught you this powerful concept.
