My niece just sent this to me ... regardless of whether or not you were a Carpenters fan, this is pretty cool endeavor from Pub Choir:

I ain't saying you ain't pretty

All I'm saying is I'm not ready for any person, place or thing to try to pull the reins in on me.

Very funny ... though I could only listen to so much. Opera, not so much. Classical, yes please. Yo Yo Ma's contribution to soothing our souls:

I thought this was a 70s music thread and nobody knows Linda Rondstadt. Fine.

I do know LR and recognized the lyrics ... but thought it was off-topic so didn't respond. As you can see, I'm as out of it as I was on your other misunderstood post.  Smiley Tongue   Sorry Jen, I'll try to pick up the pace.

I love her voice and her songs, and yes, The Carpenters were the 70's.

I was trying to impress you with my 70's music astuteness.

I’m impressed. That song was written by Mike Nesmith of the Monkees by the way

He's written quite a few hit songs. And ... did you know his mother was the inventor of Wite-Out (liquid paper)?

ETA: We'll be able to tell the ages of everyone by their knowledge of Wite-Out. Smiley Happy
