I have found UW to provide a significant upgrade to eLance, and that's in forum moderation. Mods have been helpful, take complaints while smiling and unable to do anything about it, offered all kinds of work-arounds, and in general proven invaluable.

Yes, you can talk to Customer Service. PM the mod of your choice, let her/him know what the issue is and what you've done to try and reach CS, and ask for help. Don't expect an instant fix, and go to your nearest mosque if you're looking for a miracle. Give the mod a few days, they're overwhelmed and in a thankless job. Be sure to post an attaboy when the mod offers help, and another when you finally talk to CS.
