Forget the air ticket. The latest tweet is that when you travel to the U.S. you will be required to give all details of all your media - passwords  etc. As well as bank details. If this is true, then the U.S.  is going to have a serious tourist slump!

I once had a client moaning about me not being on skype when he wanted to talk to me urgently.....or who sent emails....or tried getting hold of me via Upwork....and what was my problem?? Why did I not answer??

 

 

Dude...skype is off....as for the rest...it was the middle of the bleeding night!!! I got a very bad rating on that one

I'm torn between posting this here or in "Are you kidding me?" jobs thread .. and here won out 'cos you all have a sense of humor.

 

Anyone want to write an ebook on Marshmallow Roasting?  I kid you not.  

 

All I could think of was pre-teen camp fire songs and how much I hate the taste of those things.

 

The topic had me laughing so hard I never looked at the budget.

People who don't say anything. I got advice it's good to ask question in job post related to job. So, I asked. I got response "yes". That was it.

 

People who are hard to explain what they wish. Like, I have to ask millions of questions before I get any meaningful idea of what we are working on. 

 

If you assume too much, you get once in a while a client who will be dissatisfied after work is done, and only then s/he will tell you exact thing what they did and what they did not want.
