Interesting article.
"On September 18, 2023, Hayden Brown sold 28,457 shares of the company. This move is part of a larger trend, as over the past year, [she] has sold a total of 173,291 shares and purchased none."
"The insider's recent sell-off is part of a broader trend within the company. Over the past year, there have been 24 insider sells and no insider buys."

Read the article, Shane. I'm no stock analyst, but the article says Upwork is a good value as a stock at this point. Leadership may know something the writer didn't know, however. That's a possibility, of course.

I actually read another article that speculated the current price is about half of what investors thought it would be.

Is that good or bad? Doesn't sound like there's a lot of confidence out there, but then why would investors hold back if they saw the prices as a bargain?

David,
Most of the pay for the executive team has not been in salary, but instead, stock options which is very common for technology companies. Therefore if they want to use some of the fruits of their labor, expect there to be sales of stock.

Exactly, most CEO's and Executives are compensated with stock, usually 90%+ of their compensation!
