US based freelancers are being told that they don't live in the US.  Everyone's JSS, stats, earnings, etc. were totally screwed up.  Proposals are being archived irrationally. Attachments are disappearing from proposals.

And all of this seems to be happening at once.  Really doesn't make Upwork look very marketable.

ETA: after reading another thread, I changed my visibility to public and logged out of Upwork.  Went to search and I wasn't there.  At all.  Sigh.

I'm sorry that this has been an inconvenience for you, Mary. Please know that the team is working to resolve the issues you have mentioned.

As for not seeing yourself in the marketplace, I made a search for Mary + Paralegal, and Mary + Litigation (on a freelancer account), and in both instances, you came up first on my results. I know you are aware of this already, but please know that search results will vary, depending on who, and when the search was made, and what type of account the search was made on.

Avery, thanks for  your quick response.  It's just been a frustrating week. I really believe in this platform but sometimes it's just hard...

It's pretty bad, isn't Mary?  To learn how seemingly little we are respected by Upwork.  I wondered if they were doing all that stuff to distract us from the trash bin/TA specialist thread ... paranoid, am I right? But hey ... I don't might having that tune in my head. Take a deep breath and sing along. Mother, mother ...

Hi Mary and Virginia,

I understand why you would feel that way, Mary, and Virginia. I would like to clarify that the recent issues on the platform, and the feedback about our Talent Specialists are two unrelated cases. While our engineers are working to resolve the issues that you have experienced, please also know that we value each and every post noted on the thread mentioned, and also feedback about our other programs, and the platform in general. We might not be able to reply to each and every post here in the Community, but do know that we make sure these are all shared with the different teams working with us.

We appreciate that you continue to participate, and (virtually) spend time with us here in the Community.

Avery, thanks for your always speedy responses.  I realize that you have no direct responsibility for what goes on behind the curtain and I'm sorry that you  mods bear the brunt of our frustrations.

Mary,  in the Archived Proposals thread - page 16 - Baris explained the lack of factual data when searching for oneself.

"First of all searching a name when logged out is not a healthy way to see things. When you search, for example "Baris A" (or with my surname) there is PHP as a keyword but if you search PHP I'm nowhere to find. (Do the same with google, you'll see all kinds of BS)

What I want to say is this searching yourself while logged out is not the issue here and TS is not doing it like that (right Steve?). What they are doing though is wrong and should be stopped."

I have a hard time believing Upwork values anything about any of us ... and with good reason. I imagine it's sometimes difficult to tow the party line .

That's why I used the word "paranoid". That said, the complete and total lack of response on that thread for days and days now pretty much negates any appreciation Upwork may have for us.

I'll repeat Mary's question. What's going on?
