Your Most Unusual Workspace?

Hey everyone! What’s the weirdest or most unexpected place you’ve had to work from? Whether it was a last-minute scramble to get online or a creative spot you found early in your journey, I bet we’ve all got some fun stories!

I'll start: Once, I was at a public library when a client suddenly needed an urgent video call. The library’s Wi-Fi didn’t reach outside, and there was no way I could take the call in the quiet zone… so, I ended up setting up shop in the restroom! :toilet: Not my proudest or most glamorous work moment, but hey, I got the job done!

Now it’s your turn—what’s the strangest place you’ve ever freelanced from?

The weirdest place I’ve had to work from was probably a busy cafe in the middle of a street market. The noise was so much😅, but somehow I got a lot done.

This sounds quite interesting! When was all of this?

Hey Thato,

Haha, I love that story! The restroom office setup deserves serious respect—talk about commitment! 😂

For me, the strangest place I’ve worked from has to be a packed theme park. I was supposed to be on a family trip, but a client emergency popped up (because, of course, it did). So, there I was, typing away furiously on my laptop while the sound of rollercoasters and screaming riders filled the air. I managed to send off what was needed just as my group dragged me onto a ride. The adrenaline rush was… a whole different kind of client “follow-up.”

Freelance life definitely keeps us on our toes!
