Agency Plus Upgrade - Push Launch

What’s Changing: 

👉 Agency Basic

With this launch, users can continue to work on existing contracts without interruption. To unlock additional features such as:

  • Using Connects

  • Bidding on jobs

  • Accepting invites

  • Accepting direct hire offers

  • Being searchable by clients in the UFS or MFS

Users will need to upgrade to Agency Plus.


👉 Agency Plus (Paid Account)

The Agency Plus price is changing from $20/month to $19.99/month.

Two new perks are being added:

  • Boosted Profile

  • Upwork Chat Pro

All other features will still be available:

  • Buy connects

  • Add teammates

  • Customized url

To match the updated process for unresponsive FLs/CLs handling, we updated our process for customers requesting for cancellation of refunds.



Freelancer Requesting to Cancel Refund Sent to Client -

  • Encourage the freelancer to contact the client to request the client to issue a bonus.

  • If the client reaches out to us, we’ll instruct the client to contact the freelancer for clarification, and then advise them to issue a bonus if they still want to proceed.

  • What information will Any Hire send to GreenLight.ai?


If you choose to proceed with requesting a quote from GreenLight.ai, we will send only the information you have submitted for the offer created in Any Hire. Your information will be processed according to Upwork’s Privacy Policy and GreenLight.ai’s Privacy Policy. GreenLight.ai may need additional information from you to proceed with the engagement and will communicate with you directly.

CS Handling Process for Freelancers Requesting a Refund (BYO Only)

👉 Freelancer indicates that they've been charged a connection fee for BYO client

  • Review the associated client account for a CSS note confirming the BYO relationship

    • [ACTION] Remove Service Fee and change relationship value to 0% per Bring Your Own Client campaign

    • [DEPARTMENT] CS - Special Projects

    • [REASON] BYOC redemption Top Rated | Rising Talent

  • If CSS Note is present, proceed with the refund request

  • If CSS Note is not present, advise that the exemption only applies when we have validated BYO




Test: Show client information to freelancers in interview rooms

 

This is an iteration of the original test announced here.

 

Launch date: July 19, 2024

 

This time we’ll show client information in message rooms attached to a job post instead of DM rooms.

 

There will be a very tiny update to the entry point for showing client information from the right rail of the messaging room.
