HI, all! I'm new to Upwork, and trying to make my profile as complete as possible. I've searched the forums a few different ways for my question, so hope this isn't a re-hashing of an old topic.
What (if any) of the skills tests would you recommend a voice-over professional take? There are many that I could take and would expect to do well on, but none seem directly pertinent to how I would perform this particular job. For example, I could pass an English skills test, but if a potential client needs to know how well I enunciate and pronounce English, they will get a better idea from the demos in my portfolio than from a written, standardized test.
The other side of the question: Is it more of a benefit or a distraction to take skills tests that are not related to the jobs for which I am applying?
