How do companys print their logos on doors

Hello,

My company wants a 110cm * 30cm Logo sticker printed on our main door.

But we only have some jpg images in our computer (Obviously not 110*30cm big).

Will those work as I thought they will become blur when expended in size, so need vector graphics?

Has anybody sent their design to printing company before? Do they ask for vector file?

 Thanks in advance

For the best results with printing, logos created as vector images are best. If your logo was created as a low-res web logo, enlarging it for print won't work very well.

It's best to have your logo recreated in a vector program - then your logo can be saved in different formats and be reduced or enlarged without any loss of definition.

ETA: I just converted your dimensions into inches - enlarging a low-res logo to that size will not produce good results.

When you say "recreate in vector program", is there a software that converts the image, or do I have to actually recreate/redraw the image in vector?

It needs be be "redrawn" in a vector program like Adobe Illustrator. Hire a graphic designer to do this for you, and you'll have a logo you can enlarge to fit on a billboard, or reduced to fit on a postage stamp, and still print crisp and clearly.

Depending on the elements in your logo/how complicated it is, it may not take much to recreate it. Hard to say without seeing it. A lot of client have logos done for cheap, and what they get is a low-res web version, only to find out down the road that this format will not work for things like your clear door sign, or silk-screened t-shirts, or large trade show signs, etc.

I think you should recreate this logo into the vector and then make it various formate. (Such as Ai, EPS, JPEG, PNG, SVG). So that It can be used print as well as the web.

Hello Dear,

I believe the best and preferable to accomplish these kind of task is to keep the all format with us.

In my local market I had lot of such experience that client 1st ask for JPG and later on they want another which is nothing but after 10 days.

After observing this for more than 4 month I opt to keep all the file format as per the client(We can understand the potential client) and it really help me a lot ot save my time and build a good relationship for the fast delivery.

Its will consume time however worth invsting time for the right customer

When it comes to printing logos on doors, companies have several options depending on the material and the desired finish. For metal or glass doors, vinyl decals are a popular choice because they're durable and can be easily applied or removed. For a more permanent solution, screen printing or laser engraving can be used, which provides a clean, professional look that lasts. Wood doors can also be customized with logos through laser engraving or even hand painting, depending on the level of detail needed. It's all about matching the method to the material and the brand's aesthetic.

For businesses looking to add that personal touch to their premises, having a logo on the door is a great way to make a strong first impression. It's not just about branding—it's about setting the tone from the moment someone walks through the door. Whether it's a sleek, modern design or something more traditional, the right logo can say a lot about a company.

Of course, it’s essential to ensure that the door itself is in top condition before adding a logo. A door that’s well-maintained not only looks better but also lasts longer, making it a worthy investment. That's where services like Swift and Reliable Garage Door Repairs come in.
