Job cancellation and refund

In the course of correspondence on the contract, the client added work that is not in question in the proposal. He requested a source file that was out of the question. He also wants 4 images instead of one high-quality image

Then the client was out of line.

The client was not using the fixed-price contract model properly.

If the client wanted to change anything, then the proper thing to do is to release any remaining escrow funds to the freelancer, close the contract, and ask if the freelancer would be willing to be hired to work using a new hourly or fixed-price contract.

Andrey:
Do you have questions about what YOU should do?

If the client already cancelled the job and requested a refund, then the client has ALREADY left feedback. There is no reason for you to agree to the refund request if you already did the work.

If you did the orignal agreed-upon task, then say no to the refund request.

If you didn't do any work on this yet, then say yes to the refund request.
