Portfolio

Hi there,

I am new to upwork and I have been working on my portfolio. When uploading my images to my portfolio, the contrast is significantly higher than the original image (dark green is appearing lime green), has anyone else had this issue? If so, how do I fix it?

Hi Ruka,

I checked your portfolio items, and they actually look good. Could you please try viewing them using a different browser?

Hi,

I actually played around with it a bit and discovered that for some reason when they were uploaded as PNG files they became very high contrast. I converted all the images to JPEG and they uploaded with the correct colors.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

Are you saving as RGB? JPG? I assume we are talking about the Hempcrete project?

I can't figure out why your name is different on your profile but just so you know, when someone searches Emily and graphic design you don't come up, even adding Washington into the mix. I think that's because you call yourself a client centered design specialist as opposed to a graphic designer.

Also when clients search, they only see the first two and a half lines of your profile. So saying your name is Emily and you are an artist doesn't give them much to go on to click on your profile. So, personally, I would nix that first line and add graphic design to your description: client centered graphic design specialist.

I think the portfolio looks great but I can see wanting it to be true to color. I have not noticed that issue myself, but I do upload RGB jpg images ... don't know if that helps or not.
