Question about showing work in portfolio.

Hi,

I would like to know about the work we show in our portfolio. If the design is entirely created by ourself we can show it in our portfolio. But for example if a client has a photo he wants to be edited or a rough graphic which he wants to convert into vector, Can we show the resulted retouched image or the final new vector graphic in our portfolio, linked to the job?

Thank you.

Hi Muhammad,

You need to have the client's permission in order to include those samples in your Portfolio.

What Vlad said. But just to clarify further, you still need permission even if you created the image 'entirely yourself', if it was work for an Upwork client... as they have full ownership and rights to the image, once the project is completed and paid for.
