I'm a mobile developer and I make apps for iOS. But I also have designed some icons for iOS apps. I think this skill is also usefull. It's hard to find with my general profile, because it's mostly oriented to software development, so I want to create a specialized one. And here comes the problem, there is no such speciality as Mobile Icon Design, because it's too narrow. So I'm trying to find something similar, and I don't know which direction to go.

I'm not even sure if icon-design is highly demanded, but I know a designer who is mostly specialized on icons.

I'm a copywriter, and if I wanted to create a specialized profile called "Landing Page Copywriting" and there was no category called the same as this, I would choose the "Copywriting" mother category and change the heading as "Landing Page Copywriting". So my suggestion is to use the "Mobile Design" mother category and change the heading as "Mobile Icon Design".
Edited: At least, do this until Upwork decides to create a sub-category as you need.
