Hi Kishan,

Please note that as a freelancer, you’re charged a sliding fee based on your lifetime billings with each non-Enterprise client. This includes all contracts you’ve ever had with that client. Service fees are the same whether the contracts are hourly or fixed-price. You can check out this help article for more information.

Thank you.

The fee changes at $500.

Not $1000.

I am a freelancer.

A client named Peter hired me.

After I have earned $500 working for Peter, then the fee I am charged on my earnings while working for Peter changes from 20% to 10%.

If Peter closes the contract, and then hires me with a new contract... it does not matter. The fee is still only 10%.
