HackerNest is a non-profit organization building tech communities around the world (24 cities and growing!). Our goal is to get more people into tech so they can live happier, healthier lives. We also make tangible change for good with the technologies that come out of our hackathons.
We run monthly Tech Socials. They are like house parties for the tech community at tech offices. Our Niš chapter currently has over 100 members and growing, and we get around 70 of them out each month. These events are all about building community, and could be a great way to connect with yours.

HackerNest Niš
Hi peeps,
You can read all about the local HackerNest community activities, upcoming meetups and connect with them through the official HackerNest Niš Facebook Group.
In addition, the HackerNest community model is one of the best ones I've come across, and its structure can be easily applied to non-IT related groups. If you're looking to set up your own community group related to a specific niche/skill, share knowledge, ideas and socialize with people from the same profession, feel free to get in touch with the HackerNest community in Niš for advice.
We are also willing to support local communities related to freelancing by sharing information about their activities in the Country group, helping with making connections with local freelancers and groups, and possibly by taking part in some of your activities.
Let's participate, not spectate.
Vladimir
