Small market with domestic merchandise including delicacy cheese, picked berries, mushrooms (all depending on the season) and dried meat as well as folk art. During winter, if theres enough snow you can ski, though slopes are too simple and perhaps too steep. Little, if any evening and night activities, great for anyone needing to adjust their work time to American working hours.
Mobile Internet coverage is surprisingly good assuming it's quite far from any towns. You will be able to do most jobs, even stream videos and make calls through it without issues.
When you're out of work you can take many activities: hike, mountain bike, running, photography, ATV or motocross riding,
Only major disadvantage is the main road, some sections of it are in appalling condition, and public transport is limited to few bus lines operating from Belgrade (twice daily) and Valjevo. If you go by car, drive carefully, there is a plenty of sharp bends and possibility of fallen rocks. Fill the tank, as there are no operating petrol stations. And no ATMs, bring cash with yourself.
