Get to Know Omar Guerrero:
Omar Guerrero is a product designer with 10+ years of experience in the tech industry. At Upwork, Omar leads the Design System’s team, which is the team responsible for designing and maintaining the component libraries; they develop guidelines and train the entire UX department on how to use these tools in their work.
Omar is originally from Mexico and has lived in San Francisco, California, for the past 11 years. He has a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and is passionate about visual design and its application to the user interface. Before joining Upwork, Omar worked as a UX designer at Salesforce for four years, and before that, he worked as a graphic designer for a marketing agency.
