Today, my job success score dropped to 78%.
I believe this is due to issues with my previous project.
In this project, my client and I agreed on four milestones spread over four weeks, with each milestone due one week apart.

Here's a brief overview of our contract:

- Milestone1: System Design and Setup
$350.00
Paid
Due Apr 17

- Milestone2: Core Development
Core Development
$900.00
Due Apr 24

- Milestone3: Payment and Booster Assignment Automation
Payment and Booster Assignment Automation
$900.00
Due May 1

- Milestone4: Google Sheets Integration and Final Testing
Google Sheets Integration and Final Testing
$350.00
Due May 8

The client requested that I complete Milestones 2 and 3 simultaneously after complete all work for milestone 3.
Because they were closely related.
I agreed to this adjustment.
Milestone 1 was completed successfully, and we began Milestone 2. On April 15, the client asked me to push the entire code to his private GitHub repository, which I did, and he confirmed that everything was good.
However, the very next day, he abruptly terminated the contract without prior discussion.
When I inquired about his reasons, he expressed dissatisfaction with the development work's performance, which was surprising as it was just the first day of Milestone 2.
It was challenging to persuade him to reconsider the termination.
Moreover, he initially gave me a rating of 3.3, which, after my request, he revised to 5.0.
Despite this updated feedback, my job success score has plummeted to 78%, which was unexpected

If Upwork think this was because of me, I will not have other opinions.
But I sincerely expect your help.

And later, I received the below message from upwork.

`Hi Ilja,
We received feedback from one of your clients that a recent project may not have gone as expected. While we understand that not every project will meet clients' expectations, it's crucial to learn and adapt from these experiences.
To prevent similar outcomes, take a moment to review your profile and proposals to make sure you're accurately representing yourself and your skills, setting clear expectations, and maintaining open communication with clients. You can also explore our Academy and Community pages for resources and support to enhance your skills and approach to freelancing on Upwork.
What's next?
We understand that not every client match will be perfect. However, we also want to ensure a quality platform for all users. If we start to see a trend of negative feedback, we may temporarily pause your ability to take on new projects. Rest assured, this outcome is rare and impacts less than 1% of freelancers working on Upwork.
We're committed to helping you thrive on our platform. We're here to support your journey to success and believe in your capability to overcome this hurdle.
Thanks,
The Upwork Team`

Thank you very mucy for your time.

Best Regards,
Ilja.

Edited feedback wont rollback JSS drop. Thats all.

Many other freelancer received same email so you are not in 1%...and client mind change during review and give bad private feedback that can't be changeable and that affect and after realisation they discuss and accept like oh they made mistakes and willing to change rating but that not improve jss..this type of algorithm works if they get bad they algorithm instantly catch it if we receive good that not improve jss that much

This kind of algorithm to push for buying connects for more jobs to improve jss, boosting projects, boosting proposal and available badge on so on..its trick of business

Feedbacks editable but wont affect JSS after edited.

One client gave for me bad feedback and dropped my JSS. I discussed that and cliet said that it was mistake, edited feedback to good. But JSS drop was at place and never changed (waited month to be sure is calculation passed again. Nothing changed). So asking client to fix feedback is useless.

Both private and public reviews affect the JSS at the 6, 12, and 24 month marks.
